Darathorn Yoothong, known as Dada and Miss Grand Kalasin 2026, led an aerobics session at Lumphini Park in Bangkok on the evening of 7th April 2026, marking the launch of a new stage donated by LINE MAN Wongnai to the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration.
The event took place at Lan Tawan Yim on the Gate 4 side of the park. Activities began at 5.45pm, with the main aerobics session starting at 6.00pm. The donated stage came with sound equipment and international standard lighting, valued at over 1,000,000 baht, and is intended to support public exercise and raise the quality of recreational facilities in one of Bangkok’s most visited green spaces.
Dada first caught global attention during the Miss Grand Thailand 2026 preliminary competition in late March, when she broke into energetic hip hop inspired moves to “Nobody” by Wonder Girls during the swimsuit segment, while other contestants performed traditional graceful walks. Her performance, dubbed the “Kalasin Strut”, featured expressive choreography with strong b-boy elements and precise hand chopping motions. The clip spread across social media and has been viewed more than 30 million times. CNN covered the story extensively, noting how her approach shattered conventional beauty queen expectations. International celebrities, creators, and dance influencers from Korea and Japan incorporated her signature moves into K-pop performances and challenges, while TikTokers in the US adopted the clips for body movement challenges.
Dada is a 26-year-old professional dancer who regularly shares choreography on social media. Her style combines directness with powerful, stylised movement. She placed in the top 20 of the national competition, which was won by Pattama Jitsawat of Chonburi, but has become the standout figure of the pageant in public perception.
Lumphini Park’s aerobics zone was chosen for the stage debut because it already draws a growing mix of locals and foreign tourists. Its evening sessions attract people of all ages for free group exercise set to upbeat music, and recent reports indicate the classes have shifted from drawing mostly older participants to becoming popular among younger Bangkokians. Hundreds typically attend on ordinary evenings.
On 7 April the crowd swelled as news of Dada’s appearance spread. Participants described her performance as impressive, with her smile and precise dance steps energising attendees. She wore athletic clothing and blended her b-boy style into the aerobics routine throughout.
Organisers recommended that participants wear proper running shoes with decent support, choose breathable workout gear, and bring a personal water bottle.
The collaboration between Dada, LINE MAN Wongnai, and the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration shows how a viral moment can translate into a tangible public benefit. The upgraded stage provides professional quality facilities for regular participants and visitors, with Lumphini Park’s aerobics sessions now positioned to attract larger crowds and combine local wellness tradition with broader international interest.
